Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG
iPhones and iPads save photos as HEIC. It keeps files about half the size of a JPG, but Windows, many websites and plenty of apps cannot open it. JPG opens everywhere.
Convert your photos
- Open the HEIC to JPG tool. Go to imagetools.sanil.app/convert/heic-to-jpg/, or choose it from Convert in the menu.
- Add your photos. Drop them in, choose them, or choose a whole folder.
- Wait for the conversion. Each photo is decoded on your device and saved as a JPG at the smallest size that still looks the same.
- Download. Save each file, or the whole batch as a ZIP.
Good to know
- Location data and camera details are removed from the JPG.
- HEIC can only be an input. The tools can open it but never write it.
- A very large HEIC can need more memory than a phone has. If you see a memory message, see Image Tools can’t open my file.
