Make several sizes from one image
A single photo rarely fits everywhere. A square post, a link preview and a thumbnail each want a different size and shape. Multiple sizes makes them all in one go.
- Open Multiple sizes. Find it in the menu.
- Add your image. If you add several photos, each one gets every size you list.
- List your sizes. Each row is one file. Give it a shape such as 1:1 or 16:9, a width, a format, and how to crop it. Click Add size for more rows.
- Check the preview. Under the list, one tile per file shows what that size keeps.
- Download. Save the files, or all together as a ZIP.
Fit inside or Fill
- Fit inside shrinks the whole picture to fit the size, so nothing is cut off.
- Fill covers the whole shape and crops what does not fit, from the center, the top or the bottom. Choose Fill when the file must be exactly that shape.
Other things to know
- The panel opens with three example rows. They are not presets: change them, remove them or add your own.
- Each row has its own Format, so one photo can become a WebP for a website and a JPG for an email.
- A row that repeats an earlier one is flagged, so you never make the same file twice.
- Never enlarge skips any size bigger than the original. Turn it off if you want every size made anyway.
Resize makes one size from each image. Use Resize for a batch at one size, and Multiple sizes when one photo needs several.
