I can't find my city
When nothing matches, a message appears at the bottom saying “No match” with what you typed. Try these.
Things to try
- Check the spelling. Try the common English name, for example
Kathmandurather than a local spelling. - Try the airport code. Cities with an airport can be found by code, such as
PKR,KTMorJFK. - Try a time zone abbreviation. If you only need the offset,
IST,GMTorPDTwill work. - Add a larger nearby city. Cities in the same time zone have the same local time, so a nearby larger city gives the same answer.
- Wait for the list to load. If you see “Cities are still loading”, give it a moment and try again. The list of cities loads separately from the page.
If your city is missing
The list covers more than 1,600 cities in over 200 countries, and it keeps growing. If yours is missing, tell us the city, country and time zone, and we will add it.
