The numbers in All Ads or the Analytics box stay at zero, or look lower than you expect. Work down this list.

Check these in order

  1. Has the ad been shown? An ad has to appear on a page first. If it is not showing at all, start with My ad is not showing.
  2. Was at least half of it visible? A view is counted when half of the ad is on screen. An ad at the bottom of a long page counts only if the visitor scrolls down to it.
  3. Are you testing in the same session? Each ad is counted once per browser session, so reloading in the same tab adds nothing. Open the page in a new private window to test.
  4. Is the ad type one that counts clicks? Clicks are counted only on Image and HTML ads that have a Click URL. Views of iFrame, Script / Embed and AdSense ads are counted, but their clicks are not. See Choose the right ad type.
  5. Is a cache serving an old page? A cached page can carry an expired security token, and then its views and clicks are not recorded. Shorten the cache lifetime. See Ads and caching plugins.
  6. Is the period right? The totals in the Analytics box follow the period you chose (7d, 30d, 90d or a date range). The columns in All Ads are all-time.
  7. Is a blocker in the way? Some ad blockers and privacy extensions block tracking requests. Test with extensions turned off.
Note

If you copied the plugin files in by hand instead of installing the zip, open any screen in the WordPress admin once, signed in as an administrator. The plugin creates its statistics table there.

Still nothing?

Open a ticket and tell us your WordPress and PHP versions, the ad type, whether you use a caching plugin, and the page address.
