Install and activate Sanil Ads Kit
Sanil Ads Kit is a normal WordPress plugin, so you install it the way you install any other. You need WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 8.1 or later.
Install the plugin
- Get the plugin zip. Download the Sanil Ads Kit zip file to your computer.
- Upload it. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now. If you prefer FTP, upload the
sanil-ads-kitfolder to/wp-content/plugins/instead. - Activate it. Click Activate Plugin, or activate it from the Plugins list.
Find it in the admin
After activation a new Sanil Ads Kit item appears in the WordPress sidebar. It has four screens:
- All Ads to create and manage your ads. It also shows each ad’s views, clicks and click-through rate.
- Groups to rotate several ads in one spot.
- Placements to show ads automatically, with no theme changes.
- Settings to choose who can manage Groups and Placements, and what happens on uninstall. Only administrators see it.
Every plugin screen has a dark bar at the top with Docs, Tutorial and Help links. They open this help centre, its tutorials and the support page.
Note
The plugin does nothing on your site until you create an ad and give it a place to appear. The next article shows how.
